Camelia is the mother of a 10 year old girl with Williams Syndrome and the chair of Williams Syndrome Association in Romania. She started this association in 2006, hoping to find and help people with this syndrome and to raise awareness about it in Romania. Camelia is member of ANBRARO (The National Alliance for Rare Diseases in Romania), Eurordis and FEWS.

Claudia is a clinical psychologist and a cognitive behavioral therapist at The Rehabilitation Center “Covorasul Fermecat”, near Bucharest, Romania. In 2007, she started working as a volunteer at the Williams Syndrome Association in Romania where she met her first Williams Syndrome child, a lovely little girl. For the past 7 years, she has been working with children and adolescents with developmental disorders (Williams Syndrome, Down Syndrome, autism, psychomotor retardation) and also, with children with behavioral and emotional issues (ADHD, depression, anxiety).
